About Aceclofenac & Paracetamol Tablets IP

A fixed-dose combination of:

• Aceclofenac a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to reduce pain and inflammation

• Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) an analgesic and antipyretic that helps reduce pain and fever

This combination is commonly prescribed for managing mild to moderate pain with inflammation, offering enhanced pain relief with reduced side effects compared to higher doses of either drug alone.

Typical Composition (per tablet):

Uses / Indications:

• Osteoarthritis

• Rheumatoid arthritis

• Ankylosing spondylitis

• Musculoskeletal pain and inflammation

• Dental pain

• Post-operative pain and fever

Dosage & Administration:

Take with water, preferably after food to reduce gastric irritation.

Precautions:

• Use cautiously in patients with:

  • History of peptic ulcers or GI bleeding

  • Liver or kidney impairment

  • Asthma or NSAID hypersensitivity

• Avoid use with other NSAIDs or paracetamol-containing products to prevent overdose

• Not recommended during pregnancy unless advised by a physician

Possible Side Effects:

Drug Interactions:

• Increased risk of GI bleeding with anticoagulants and corticosteroids

• Paracetamol toxicity risk with other hepatotoxic drugs

• May reduce effectiveness of antihypertensives like ACE inhibitors and diuretics
