Product Description

ï Composition

Each capsule typically contains:

• Esomeprazole (Enteric-Coated):
  A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production.

• Levosulpiride (Sustained Release):
  A prokinetic agent and antipsychotic (low dose), which enhances gastrointestinal motility and has antiemetic and mood-stabilizing effects.

ï Uses / Indications

This combination is commonly prescribed for:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

• Acid reflux

• Functional dyspepsia

• Non-ulcer dyspepsia

• Gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying)

• IBS with upper GI symptoms

• Nausea, bloating, fullness, early satiety

Itïs particularly useful when symptoms are both acid-related and motility-related.

ï Dosage

• Usual adult dose: One capsule once or twice daily, before meals, usually 30ï60 minutes before breakfast

• Duration: As advised by your doctor, typically for a few weeks to months depending on severity

ïï Side Effects

Esomeprazole-related:

• Headache

• Constipation or diarrhea

• Flatulence

• Low magnesium (with long-term use)

Levosulpiride-related:

• Drowsiness

• Fatigue

• Increased prolactin levels (can cause breast tenderness or menstrual changes)

• Rare: Parkinson-like symptoms (if used long-term or at high doses)
