📌 Composition

Each tablet typically contains:

• Cefixime 200 mg (a 3rd generation cephalosporin antibiotic)

• Ofloxacin 200 mg (a fluoroquinolone antibiotic)

🊠Uses

This combination is prescribed for:

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Respiratory tract infections (e.g. bronchitis, pneumonia)

• Typhoid fever

• Gastrointestinal infections (e.g. infectious diarrhea, dysentery)

• ENT infections (ear, nose, throat)

• Sexually transmitted infections (STIs), in some cases

🕠Dosage (Typical)

• Usually: One tablet twice daily (every 12 hours)

• With or without food, but better absorbed when taken after meals

• Course typically lasts 5 to 7 days, depending on the infection

šï Precautions

Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have:

• Kidney or liver disease

• History of tendonitis or tendon rupture (related to Ofloxacin)

• Epilepsy or seizure disorders

Not recommended for:
