Levocetirizine + Montelukast Syrup is a combination antihistamine and leukotriene receptor antagonist, commonly prescribed to treat allergic conditions in children and occasionally in adults who prefer liquid medication.
Levocetirizine Hydrochloride: 2.5 mg
Montelukast Sodium: 4 mg (as montelukast sodium equivalent)
Form: Oral Syrup
Flavour: Usually fruit-flavored (e.g., mango, orange) to enhance palatability for children
Pack Size: 60 ml / 100 ml bottle
This syrup is prescribed for:
Allergic rhinitis (seasonal or perennial)
Chronic idiopathic urticaria (long-term hives)
Asthma (mild cases or maintenance therapy)
Cough and nasal congestion due to allergies
Atopic dermatitis (as adjunct)
Dosage should be as per a doctor's prescription, especially in children.

Common:

Diarrhea (mainly in children)
Rare but serious:
Mood or behavior changes (with montelukast)
Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty)
Use with caution in children under 2 years (not generally recommended)
Avoid concurrent use of alcohol or sedatives
Caution in renal impairment (due to levocetirizine)
Montelukast has rare reports of neuropsychiatric events monitor for unusual mood or behavior
