🊠Luliconazole Cream IP 1% w/w (20 gm)

Luliconazole Cream is a topical antifungal medication used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, jock itch, and athlete™s foot. It is known for its high potency, once-daily application, and short treatment duration compared to many other antifungals.

📌 Composition

• Active Ingredient: Luliconazole IP 1% w/w

• Tinea corporis (ringworm of the body)

• Tinea cruris (jock itch)

• Tinea pedis (athlete™s foot)

• Tinea versicolor

• Dermatophytosis due to Trichophyton, Epidermophyton, and Microsporum species

🕠Dosage & Application

• Apply once daily to the affected area

• Clean and dry the area before application

• Gently apply a thin layer, covering the infected area and 1 inch of surrounding skin

• Wash hands after applying (unless treating hands)

📌 Treatment Duration:

• Tinea corporis/cruris (body/groin): 1 week

• Tinea pedis (feet): Up to 2 weeks

šï Side Effects

Generally well tolerated. Some may experience:

• Mild burning or stinging

• Redness or itching

• Skin dryness or peeling

Serious reactions are rare. Stop using and consult a doctor if signs of allergy occur (blistering, severe itching, rash spreading).

• For external use only

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes

• Do not use on broken or irritated skin unless advised

• Not for facial/genital fungal infections unless specifically prescribed
