Permethrin Soap is a medicated soap used for treating and preventing scabies and lice infestations on the skin. It contains Permethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid, which kills mites and lice by paralyzing their nervous system.

🴠How to Use Permethrin Soap

1. Wet the body with lukewarm water.

2. Apply the soap and lather thoroughly, especially in affected areas:

   • Between fingers and toes

   • Underarms

   • Groin

   • Behind ears

   • Scalp (in children or elderly, or if lice are present)

3. Leave the lather on the skin for 3“5 minutes.

4. Rinse off completely with water.

5. Use once daily for 3“5 days (or as directed by a doctor).

6. Avoid using on the face or near eyes/mouth unless specifically advised.

šï Side Effects

Usually mild and temporary:

• Dry skin

• Mild burning or stinging

• Redness or itching (may persist after mites are killed)

📌 Persistent itching after treatment is common and doesn™t always mean failure ” it can result from your body reacting to dead mites.

• For external use only

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, nose, and broken skin

• Not for use in children under 2 months unless directed by a doctor

• If irritation persists or worsens, discontinue use and consult a physician
