Product Description

Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride is a first-generation antihistamine with anxiolytic, sedative, antipruritic, and antiemetic properties. It blocks H1 histamine receptors and also affects some areas of the central nervous system.

Uses / Indications:

  • Allergic conditions: Urticaria, dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, pruritus

  • Anxiety and tension: Short-term management of anxiety disorders

  • Sedation: Preoperative or pre-procedural sedation

  • Sleep disorders (mild insomnia)

  • Nausea and vomiting (especially when related to motion sickness)

  • Adjunct in opioid-induced pruritus

  • Use with caution in renal or hepatic impairment

  • May prolong QT interval in susceptible individuals
