About Pantoprazole Sodium EC & Levosulpiride SR Capsules

A combination medication containing:

• Pantoprazole Sodium (Enteric Coated) a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces gastric acid secretion, aiding in the treatment of acid-related gastrointestinal conditions.

• Levosulpiride (Sustained Release) a prokinetic and antiemetic agent that enhances gastrointestinal motility and helps relieve symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and bloating.

This combination is commonly prescribed for treating acid reflux, GERD, functional dyspepsia, and other gastric motility disorders.

Typical Composition (per capsule):

Uses / Indications:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

• Functional dyspepsia

• Gastritis

• Peptic ulcers

• Nausea, vomiting, and bloating due to delayed gastric emptying

• Irritable bowel syndrome with predominant symptoms of motility disorders

Dosage & Administration:

Swallow capsule whole; do not crush or chew.
Take at the same time each day for best effect.

Precautions:

• Use cautiously in patients with:

  • Liver impairment

  • History of extrapyramidal symptoms or movement disorders

  • Prolonged QT interval or cardiac arrhythmias

• Avoid use in children under 12 years unless prescribed

• Inform your healthcare provider of any other medications, especially those affecting heart rhythm
