Terbinafine Hydrochloride Cream 1% is a topical antifungal medication used to treat fungal skin infections. It belongs to the allylamine class and works by blocking the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes effectively killing the fungus.

Used for treating skin infections such as:
Tinea corporis (ringworm)
Tinea cruris (jock itch)
Tinea pedis (athletes foot)
Tinea versicolor (discolored skin patches)
Candidiasis (yeast infections of the skin)
Pityriasis versicolor
Clean and dry the affected area before applying.
Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin once or twice daily (as directed).
Rub in gently and cover the area, including a 1-inch margin of healthy skin.
Wash hands after applying (unless hands are the treated area).

Ringworm/jock itch: 12 weeks
Athletes foot: 24 weeks
Candidiasis: 12 weeks
Most people tolerate it well. Possible side effects:
Mild burning or stinging sensation
Itching, redness, or peeling
Dry skin
Rare: Allergic skin reaction (rash, swelling, blistering) discontinue and consult a doctor if this occurs.

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes
Do not apply to broken or irritated skin unless advised
Not recommended for children under 12 without medical advice
